"Nice....."

date: December 22, 2007

The man staggered helplessly, slowly, slowly, falling to his knees, crawling...He had not seen another human being for weeks...or months? He had run out of water long ago, but he was still desperate to crawl, and try to get back to his family and friends. Why had he gone out with so little water? He cursed himself for his foolishness. Vultures flew overhead, mocking him. He could see something on the horizon...another man? Could this be the answer to his prayers? But...the figure wore a black robe, and held an hourglass in one hand, and a great scythe in the other. The sand in the hourglass had poured almost completely into the bottom. The man looked up into the black void of the man's face, and saw a flash of white. The man saw what the sinister figure would do, he tried to protest, but all that came out of his dry and sandy throut was a pitiful croak. The man had seen this figure before, when his parents, grandparents, friends, relatives had died. He had seen him at funerals, wakes, many other places. He had seen this figure many times before. He closed his eyes. He would finally escape the desert. Just not in the fashion he had wished. He lowered his head, as the figure swung the scythe...and then he was free... Well, that was my image. A nice Ambient, good enough to have made Best Of The Week. And just in case Aayoivag And Friends didn't drive you insane, the Reaper and victim probably will.

This actually made me nauseous - slightly less nauseous than I would should you force me to watch 50 episodes of Happy Tree Friends in a row, but still...Sickeningly horrible, you just wouldn't expect a nice girl like hania to be so good at describing necrophilia [or, as we call it over here, copse-fucking!] Very...um...good...

"Vey very good"

date: December 22, 2007

The music somehow goes brilliantly with the lyrics, although you'd expect more serious lyrics to this kind of tune. The lyrics are hilarious, and it is amazing that no-one has made a Flash of this yet. Well, it is heard in one entry, but really...that entry doesn't exactly give it justice. Actually, it doesn't exactly give anything justice for that matter, but don't get me started...Well, overall this is a very good and funny piece of music. Good luck on finding a Flash artist willing to make a movie of it...

"Really good song...brilliant"

Fairly depressing, with dark mystery surrounding the lyrics. The simplicity of the tune makes it very memorable. One of the, if not the, best songs that I've ever heard on NG.

Author's Response:

I hear ya XD.

One time I got the guy bandaged, but I didn't get him drunk enough and he died before I could finish. And i'm sitting there going, but it was ONE MORE ROLL >:(!!!!

Oh well, I hope the game and tune both were able to entertain you! Thank you for the review!

"Entstehen Lagerschwelle!"

date: December 12, 2007

Brilliant piece. Hmmm, while I'm here, I shall torture you with a STORY!
The mighty lands that were once ruled by passionate and just kings are now under the control of the mighty, wrathful, demonic lord Malain and his simpering advisor Kako Aaiyovag. But far under the earth, something stirs. Emenka the serpent lifts up his head, hearing the sound of clanking chains. Could it be that, after thousands of years, the Great One, Ruler of all that he surveys, the Ancient Benevolence, awaking from his almost eternal slumber? And sure enough, the huge figure on the wall groans and twists his hands against the chains that have held them for so long. He snaps through them as if they were twigs. Emenka looks on joyously as he raises his mighty head...''EGOSUM...SUSCITATIO!''

Author's Response:

nooooo, not a story, I can't STA- *reads story*

I see you are quite the writer. The names you have developed are very interesting ones, and flow right off the tongue. Aaiyovag especially.

It makes me wonder what exactly has awoken here D: Some deep and powerful force I assume. Ah well, thank you for sharing and the story, as well as the review. I'm glad you liked it!

Very dark and lonely. Shadowy more than dark. It's a brilliant piece of music, one of the best that I've ever heard on NG. Well done.
